After my daughter opened her Qwirkle game at her birthday celebration, the whole family sat down to play it. Kids (6 & 9), parents, and grandparents all learned the rules quickly and had a great time playing together. My dad doesn't usually like to play games, but he made a point of saying how much he enjoyed this one. It has enough challenge for the adults to enjoy, but is easy enough for anyone old enough to know colors and shapes to play.
Many level of Play!August 25, 2010 I am(USA) It's been a month since we got this and we have so much fun with it. My 4 yr old love it, and we start with few rules to begin and slowly add more rules to increase complexity of the game. No score at the beginning we can slowly get up to that. I can't wait to play more with my older nieces to see how well this game played!

I bought this for my son (11 yr. old) but not only do I play it with him, I also play with my adult friends. Everyone likes this game. I like the product. It's well made, fun and easy to play. I would recommend it highly.
Great Game for Adults and KidsAugust 12, 2010 Gwen Smith This game arrived very promptly and was well packaged. These grandparents had to try it immediately. We found it quite interesting and in its way challenging. Our four going five in November granddaughter and her parents arrived for the week-end. She found it fun--we didn't keep score--and I am sure we will play this with her many times in the future. She like her father thoroughly enjoys games. The adults also wanted to play the game again later after she went to bed and repeated the experience another time as well. Our son likened it to Scrabble (never his favorite game) without the letters--it least that was his excuse when we our scores were higher than his.
If only we were a little smarterAugust 4, 2010 Nerd I purchased this game for my 6 year-old and we now enjoy it thoroughly, but it has taken us a couple of tries to get the hang of the game. Specifically, we were unclear about the optimal patterns for the tiles. You may find that for a younger child, the game takes more time than the child has in attention span (by the end of the game, we're both a little bit ready for it to be over). The good news is that we work on math by keeping track of the scores (heh, heh, I love hidden learning). I think that if you stick with it, this game will be enjoyable through adulthood.
