| Customer Reviews: These are great for kids of all ages!! July 23, 2010 R. Colby (Texas) These blocks are amazingly fun. My kids play with these daily. They find many uses for them, and have played with them for years. They are great for throwing games as well. They still use them to this day. I would highly recommend these.

I bought these for my 3-yr. old granddaughter. I had also bought her the Melissa & Doug block set, and the ones from Melissa & Doug are a lot more substantial.
Make sure you pay attention to the size and weight of the product March 2, 2010 Jen (Virginia) 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
These are nice blocks with a few different shapes but I personally would not buy them again for the price I paid. I saw 100 count blocks for $24 and thought, "What a steal." When I received the box I couldn't believe that 100 pieces of anything could fit in it. If I would have seen them at a store I would not have paid that much for them. You could buy a dowel and a block of wood and cut out these shapes for much cheaper.
Beautiful blocks February 11, 2010 Cynthia Woodruff (ventura ca) These blocks are absolutely beautiful. They are smooth, clear grained and cut in very precise modules. There are many wonderfully unusual shapes and styles to add to the original set. Children's blocks are expensive, but these, especially, will be a gift that can go through generations of children. We are very pleased to have discovered Barclay's.

My kids really liked it, but the pieces seemed really small so I had to watch them when playing with them because I was worried about them putting it in their mouth. Other then that it has been fun building stuff.
