| Customer Reviews: Great toy with one design flaw August 13, 2010 BakingandBooks.com (CT) This is a fun little toy that my 6-month old son enjoys playing with. As another reviewer mentioned, one of the great things about this piano is how varied the melodies are. Not only does it play classical pieces but your child can compose his/her own music as well, which means mom and dad don't have to hear the same melody over and over and over... big plus!
The one down-side is that the speaker is on the bottom of the toy, which means that if your child doesn't hold the piano on his/her lap while playing with it the sounds is very muffled. My son still likes to play with it - muffled sounds and all - but I can't help marveling that the designers put the speaker in such an unfavorable location. Einstein would blush to know that such an obvious design flaw was incorporated into a product with his name on it!
Baby has loved this from day 1 August 9, 2010 MylesJamesMommy This is by far my son's favorite toy. He is 8 1/2 months old and still loves to push the buttons and fiddle with the control. He has loved it since he was a newborn when the lights and music really caught his attention. The music is not annoying for parents to listen to either! There is enough variety. In fact, my baby loves it so much that it was what I used to encourage rolling over and crawling at a very young age. He just had to figure out how to move his body in new ways to get to his beloved piano:-)
My Son Loves this Piano!!! August 4, 2010 leslie williamson My 6 month old absolutely loves this piano. It has helped him learn to sit up on his own! Must Buy!
Better than I could have imagined. July 14, 2010 Del I bought this piano along with some other toys for my 5 month old twins. It looked like fun so I got it not realizing that it also plays the numbers in English, French and Spanish. It also plays several classical compositions and can change from piano to xylophone, etc. I was so intrigued by it I showed it to my husband and we played with it for like 30 minutes before we actually gave it to the twins. I do find that the number 2 button sticks sometimes but it wasn't enough of a problem to make me take away a star. Your kids will love this toy.
Great tummy time toy June 9, 2010 VAreader (VA, United States) This is my son's favorite toy and has convinced him that tummy time is not that bad after all. It has been his incentive to start rolling over more. He loves the lights and songs and likes hitting the keys and the rattle. He has spit up on it several times now (in between the keys too) and it is still going strong! The songs are actually nice to listen to, not annoying at all! Great for getting him to sit in the bumbo too.
